That isn't asking too much. But watch a press conference long enough and you'll notice how often a difficult question gets an answer to a different question. Then everybody moves on. The next morning we're supposed to call that transparency.

I got tired of it. So I started writing.

This isn't a podcast, and it's not a campaign to get invited into a locker room. It's a place to argue about the Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox, and Bruins: rosters, coaching, the money behind the teams, and what fans are being asked to believe. I'll be pissed off sometimes. I'll also give credit when somebody earns it. Look at the Bruins column.

What you can expect

Opinions with a point of view. Numbers that can be checked. Links to the original reporting. When I can't prove something, I won't claim I can. If I get a fact wrong, I'll correct it.

I'm not pretending to have inside sources I don't have. I'm not pretending to be part of an established newsroom, either. This is an independent opinion publication. That means it's on me to do the work.
